The Wholesome Helper was designed with parents in mind to help those with children who may be a bit fussy with their food choices. The method behind the madness is to engage children in cooking and trying new foods with the help of their Wholesome Helper. Within our boxes you will find;

🍎 a friendly bear dressed in chefs whites and a chefs hat

🍎 a scripted magnetic whiteboard/marker pen for you to decide what you want your child to eat for that specific meal time (and leaving a clue as to where your child can find them hidden)

🍎 a name card for your child to name their bear

The idea is each day you as the parent/guardian will write down what food you want your child to try for that mealtime, however, you’re essentially writing it pretending to be the bear! 

Studies show that children are more likely to try new foods or foods they wouldn’t normally eat when they see others doing so. Ever thought ‘why does my child eat all of that in nursery but not at home?!’  Same thing! If the child thinks their furry little friend wants to eat something they normally would not eat, they are more likely to try it with their Wholesome Helper by their side. 

I wanted to involve interactive play with the child and bear so before cooking/eating commences feel free to hide the bear in a location of your choice and leave a clue for the child on their whiteboard to find them!
